Antimicrobial Stewardship and Knowledge Engines at ECCMID
At the 31st European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Disease (ECCMID), Medexter’s CEO and Scientific Director Klaus-Peter Adlassnig gave presentations on the following topics: First, he reported on advances on “Intelligent and versatile IT support for antimicrobial stewardship” by applying Momo as fully integrated component in hospital IT landscapes. Second, “Interpretive knowledge engines: A new service for pathologists to bridge the gap to clinicians” follows Medexter’s approach to automatically generate clinically oriented interpretations for complex medical findings. This was exemplified by HEPAXPERT. Abstracts of both talks can be found in the ESCMID eLibrary.
